I'm not sure what exactly I was looking for this morning when I ran across this video. I opened the tab, did many other things and finally got around to watch it about 4 hrs. later.
I really have no idea where the time went, what I did for four hours or why I didn't just open it up and watch it to begin with. This amazing story may have some insight into my morning, maybe not however this is one heck of a story and one heck of an interesting point of view about our realities and our existence. She is brain scientist who suffered a stroke. You have to watch the whole thing... really... you do. One heck of a story!
This product found me rather than me finding it, and I'm very glad that it did. If I had had it over the many years that I drove many miles a day to and from work in addition to the long drives to town and back, I would have saved quite a bit of money. I admit that it took a couple of exposures to it before I took the plunge. Looking back, I'm not sure why I didn't just jump on it when it was casually introduced to me the first time.... well, now that I put that thought into writing I realize that I do know why I didn't jump on it... I no longer drive crazy miles every day. At the time I started my 6 tank challenge, I was driving approx. 7 miles a day. My office has moved across town now so that has increased to 12-14 miles a day. I just didn't think that XFT would make a difference in my mileage if I was only putting around town. Boy was I wrong! My truck only recalibrates actual fluctuations in MPG at certain points known only to "it" (I've never been able to figure it out), however I can say that at the end of the 1st tank there was a .2 mpg increase, the 2nd tank went from telling me at gas fill that I had 320 miles before empty to it telling me I had 345 miles before empty (actual was 340) and the 3rd tank at fill went from 325 miles to 365 miles before empty (I'm still working on it, about 2/3 of a tank left). I'm not much of a math person so I'm oblivious to the actual mpg, however the dramatic increase in miles before empty just tickles me pink! So far, I'm very happy with this and recommend it highly! It's made by Syntek Global. If you're curious, have a look at the tab "Be My Gas Savings" or just click here: be.mysyntek.com $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Selling on eBay is quite the challenge. Rules change seemingly daily. Your listings get taken down for no reason that the eBay reps can really explain other than a run away computer that they can't control and no one has figured out how to stop, You get drive by negative feedback shooters that get their order in 2 days, don't contact you with any problems and 2 or 3 days later when you notice your feedback score looks a little off, lo and behold that great item that you may have actually taken a loss to sell has somehow became the scourge of the earth and earned you a "negative" or "neutral" feedback... No reason given, the buyer didn't shoot you a message saying "hey, I want my $199.99 back, tell me where to return this thing!" . Instead, they just shoot you a "negative" or a "neutral", are very happy to NOT ask for a refund and happier still to be out their money while your eBay rating tanks. For the next 2 weeks this will just remain a mystery while somehow I manage to hold on to my "Power Seller" rating, however the rules change again and as far as I can tell there won't be anybody left to sell on eBay but Sears... really. Only the BIG and BIGGER Businesses with thousands of transactions will have enough to balance out their negatives and neutrals. So while I ponder this "lack of communication, questions and answers" , I am reminded that there are a multitude of product questions that we get asked that I have no idea how these folks come up with. Answering their questions can be tricky, just like walking in a mine field... so I saw this button and just "knew" that I had to have it for sale in my Store.... If only I could figure out the price point! Have spent the better part of 3 hours trying to get a post with it's link to a landing page right in FaceBook. I really should have stopped after about 15 min. and gone on to something else, however it had me in it's death grip and I honestly could not move away from it. For some reason any personalized landing page that I chose just would not load up. It would show in the preview, however when I actually posted, it would all go away but the words. If I clicked on the words it would redirect me to the landing page but folks just looking at it would not have been able to tell that you could do that. I went through every landing page choice and every shortened version and finally came back to the one I had that I was trying to replace in the first place.... this is a great example of my internet follies. There is probably a very good reason, something simple that I am not doing however I cannot figure it out and usually I just can't let go of it... wasting time that I really don't have. So I've had my Sunday bone, hopefully I can move on. If you're stuck in one right now... take a deep breath, count to 0, exhale and laugh! Go do something else and take my advice cuz I sure am not using it! I remembered several times since July 3rd that I should get a post up here. Needless to say, I forgot as many times as I remembered until today. I am truly grateful to have spent my time on earth living in this great land and even more grateful for the rural wild roots and dirt that run through me. There is really no other way to describe growing up in the wild west not too long after it was wild. because it was still pretty much wild. Anyway, salute to our Independence and to our soldiers for fighting so hard to keep us that way. |
