I found this book by Jordan B. Malik over the weekend. It's pretty basic stuff for those who possess the "sell me Baby" mentality. For those folks less inclined to see every item around them through a $$ For Sale lens, it's a great beginners guide. Lots of tips, links to terrific info, and updates to his book for life. For me it contains a look into a different thought process altogether than I have ever had. I've picked up stuff at the dump and brought it home and picked up cans etc. for recycle but I don't remember ever taking part in a process of selling parts and pieces that I may have squirreled away around my house. It's certainly different that the retail arbitrage I've been doing for nearly a year. There was some discussion in one of my FB selling groups that this book was a waste of time. Then there was the alternative thought that it was a potential goldmine in the right hands. What I thought is that one man's trash is another man's treasure, that's the basic premise of why we are selling on eBay and Amazon and perhaps around our towns. You just never know what you don't know until you know it! Happy Selling! |
