There were others that were just as time consuming and ultimately pointless, however it would be time consuming and pointless to recount them! I'm just blowing the steam off the top of my head before it settles in for good!.
Today has been a total buzz kill in pretty much every thing that I have tried to accomplish. Total meltdown in one of the program groups that I am in over new direction and the new Admin that goes with it. Let's just say that communication skills went right out the window starting with the Admin a couple of nights ago. I'm not sure there ever was resolution today as I finally gave up, however lots of folks put up a valiant stand. Whatever direction the program is going, I will likely follow one offshoot and stay out of the rest. If change is going to happen, that's fine however it would be really helpful for everyone to clearly state what it is and not talk ring around the rosie until everyone is so confused that there is nearly a brawl. Just this one situation took 1/2 the day.
There were others that were just as time consuming and ultimately pointless, however it would be time consuming and pointless to recount them! I'm just blowing the steam off the top of my head before it settles in for good!. About a bizzillion times a day in every media I go to, I see that in order to be successful you have to "find your Niche". That's supposed to be pretty much all that you can talk about in a blog or a regular website. They have statistics up the wazoo to prove that that is the correct way to go about "putting yourself out there". Well, I want to know who came up with this "rule" and why does everyone buy into it? Life just is not that cut and dry. There is only so much "stuff" you can say about one subject... and most of the time I can do it in about 2 paragraphs. Well, maybe 3 or 4 depending on the subject and how close I am to it and also on how long the paragraphs are. I'm not really sure how to just focus on one particular subject (I thought Niche was Nietzsche until a few months ago.. really. My brain just would not do the math to separate the two) seeing as how I've been afflicted with Squirrel most of my life and I have the fine dirt of a Western Ranch running through my veins. That dirt... it's all encompassing, it looks at the broad view and yet hones in on the immediate need and how it plays into the broad view. There is no "niche" in the dirt. You might excel at roping one day and fencing the next. Irrigating has it's special place and so does spreading manure. It's cyclical in nature, depends on the season and the need and just because you rode a good bronc yesterday and brought home the buckle does not mean that you forego baling hay at dusk or chasing rock chucks up a pipe or fishing with no pole. Additionally, withdrawing your focus from the big picture and shutting off your surroundings can get you dead in heart beat. I've had a difficult time in what others would call the "real world" ... because they couldn't be further from my truth. Mostly their reality is whatever someone chooses to blow up their proverbial rear end today. So Chris pretty much has it figured out as far as I can tell. Don't need no niche's, just the Highway. You know, there was a time in my life when I danced and sang and carried on like I enjoyed myself!
The last few years have pretty much taken that away, and then I run across my all time FAVORITE song! I almost dance myself out of my chair! I LOVE this song! Takes me back safe in the arms of memories, even the bad ones are better than the last few years so I'll take them! If you're having a hard time today, or it's been a really really bad year, or you've had a run of luck like we have... GO FIND YOURSELF YOUR MUSIC!!!! Here's to all you "Cadillac Lovers". May they all be pink! I remembered several times since July 3rd that I should get a post up here. Needless to say, I forgot as many times as I remembered until today. I am truly grateful to have spent my time on earth living in this great land and even more grateful for the rural wild roots and dirt that run through me. There is really no other way to describe growing up in the wild west not too long after it was wild. because it was still pretty much wild. Anyway, salute to our Independence and to our soldiers for fighting so hard to keep us that way. Redirecting my sites in addition to this one turned out to be much simpler than I remembered. I was able to get them done in under 5 minutes. Great relief! 2Ryanssuccess.com and allstuffcoconut.com. Was able to work through the sign in issues on be.myalureve.com and be.mysyntek.com. All are up and running! I'm working my way through the new training at Syntek Global. Their training within the site is excellent, great videos and step by step. Biggest obstacle is time. I have so many things going to generate income that I feel like a ping pong ball in the Mother of all Tornados! Downline Build Mine finally paid out and paid off.. have been waiting on new site creation and matrix build since early winter. Looking for great success there as well. And then there is eBay BluePrint Mastermind The membership and training site for my selling on eBay... SO, now I have these wonderful Opportunities... GET AFTER IT!!! |
