I'm not really sure how to just focus on one particular subject (I thought Niche was Nietzsche until a few months ago.. really. My brain just would not do the math to separate the two) seeing as how I've been afflicted with Squirrel most of my life and I have the fine dirt of a Western Ranch running through my veins.
That dirt... it's all encompassing, it looks at the broad view and yet hones in on the immediate need and how it plays into the broad view. There is no "niche" in the dirt. You might excel at roping one day and fencing the next. Irrigating has it's special place and so does spreading manure. It's cyclical in nature, depends on the season and the need and just because you rode a good bronc yesterday and brought home the buckle does not mean that you forego baling hay at dusk or chasing rock chucks up a pipe or fishing with no pole. Additionally, withdrawing your focus from the big picture and shutting off your surroundings can get you dead in heart beat.
I've had a difficult time in what others would call the "real world" ... because they couldn't be further from my truth. Mostly their reality is whatever someone chooses to blow up their proverbial rear end today.
So Chris pretty much has it figured out as far as I can tell. Don't need no niche's, just the Highway.
